Job Training Sites
The success of the Sacramento County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program is n a large part due to the many local businesses who provide on-site internships to ROP students. It is the assistance provided through the partnerships that ROP has with employers that enable our students to receive the training and skill proficiency required in today’s job market. The dedicated personnel in business and industry, who give of themselves by serving the students enrolled in ROP, help provide the leadership and expertise needed to make career preparation a reality.
Advisory Committees
Local business and industry experts participate as members of Advisory Teams for each ROP program. Advisory committee members provide valuable information to ensure programs are up-to-date and respond to labor market needs.
