The Sacramento County ROP Career Center is located near Highway 50 and Mather Field Road, approximately 10 miles from downtown Sacramento and 25-30 minutes from the Sacramento International Airport.
The Sacramento County ROP Career Center is located at 10541 Norden Avenue (on the former Mather A.F.B.), approximately one mile from Highway 50.
From Highway 50 Eastbound
Exit Mather Field and turn right (south) onto Mather Field Road. Pass Rockingham Drive, get into the far right lane, and bear right at the "Y". After the light at Peter A. McCuen Boulevard, Mather Field Road becomes a one-way street (Von Karman Street). At the second stop sign, turn left on Norden Avenue. Drive one block (past the park). Cross Whitehead Road and enter the first driveway on the left to park. The ROP Career Center is the single story building to your immediate right.
From Highway 50 Westbound
Exit Mather Field and turn left (south) onto Mather Field Road. Pass Rockingham Drive, get into the far right lane, and bear right at the "Y". After the light at Peter A. McCuen Boulevard, Mather Field Road becomes a one-way street (Von Karman Street). At the second stop sign, turn left on Norden Avenue. Drive one block (past the park). Cross Whitehead Road and enter the first driveway on the left to park. The ROP Career Center is the single story building to your immediate right.
Return to Highway 50
From the parking lot, turn left onto Norden Avenue (a one-way street going east). After two blocks, turn left onto Femoyer Street and stay in the left lane. Turn left on Mather Boulevard and get into the right lane. At Whitehead Street (a one-way street going north) turn right. Whitehead Street comes to a "T" at the second traffic signal. Turn left onto Mather Field Road and proceed to Highway 50.
